Title: Free To A Good Home.
Post by: mx250 on July 14, 2011, 06:51:13 pm
Free To A Good Home ;D.

You pay postage or collect, fair enough ;)

Top triple clamp off something, probably Yammy.

All threads appear to be good (I'll confirm). 35mm.

This is the bottom triple clamp, minus head stem, for Yammy YZ250/400 D&E and maybe others (IT's???)

All threads appear to be good (I'll confirm). 36mm.

Top clamp isn't Yamaha dirt bike - none of them had 35mm non-leading-axle forks.

Looks Euro, although they mostly had removable bar mounts (in my very limited experience).

No carbon there. No chance of being slugged by any taxes ;D.

You are seeing either dirt or grey primer overspray.

to my eye they are to suit something with forward axle forks...the legs are v close to being parallel with stem as is typical for forward axle forks..

Definitely leading axle but also very close between the tubes. I'll measure and report ;).

I will have a look at the ones on my yz400d 2moro and compare, if they are off something else then someone else can put up thier hand for them as they would be of more use to someone else if its the case... Sounds like double douch - you know what i mean
Cheers Brett

The bottom triples are the YZ250/400 d/e.

The top triples are off what I'm don't know :-\.
