Title: phillip island moto gp

doing a trip to phillip island for the moto gp this year from queensland.whats it like to say maybe stay at cowes(we are traveling in a mercedes sprinter van that we can sleep in) can you get a bus to the track? looked at staying at the track in the van but too expensive as only got time to stay sat nite and maybe sun nite if get too smashed to drive.havnt been to phillip island since 1st gp in 1989 .any tips?

across from Amaroo C/van,backpacker/cabins etc etc,theres their "overfill" car park,empty block of land,crash there!front the  office people for "budget" use of showers,& basic breakfast room facilities,(you have to washup your stuff),i think they might have bus service to track too from memory,ask!,either that or park in Coles supermarket carpark,(amaroos around the corner 1 street back,on the right corner), :P
