Title: An Alternative to Ebay?
Post by: mx250 on July 10, 2011, 08:25:46 pm
Is there a reasonable Australian alternative.

The Kiwi have Trademe (which I think was bought out by EvilPay anyway), is there an Australian worthwhile alternative that is worth a try?

I don't consider Gumtree as a viable alternative to small item auctions. Might be good for some but......

(Hasn't that girl rubbed the skin from her nipples by pulling her top up and down endlessly :-\).

Yeah poxy Fairfax bought Trade me .......... just at the moment Fairfax is strapped for cash and Trade me may be on the block, its their most profitable business.

Fairfax bought for 700 mil ( not bad for founder in 6 years) and have offers of 1.4 billion.

There's nothing that has the large worldwide market that ebay does.  You just have to take the bad with the good.

True very true ......
How's this !!  >:( I sent a t shirt to NZ last week:
$11.50 for postage
$45 for the shirt
$25 for exchange rate to deposit money into a private australian account.
Plus throw in a bit of carbon tax and its best to go shirt less  ;D
