Title: Millfarm Scramble,Wandering WA !!
Post by: VMX247 on July 09, 2011, 11:19:41 am
The Millfarm Scramble is on 28th August at Ferguson Farm Wandering - just one & half hours south of Perth. This is the VMX club of WA's mecca event on the calendar.
pre'75 this also includes sidecars.
2011 brings the feature of "Best of British"Entries now on vmxwa website.

The track is laid out once a year at the Ferguson family's Mill Farm through gently undulating paddocks, flush with bright green grass clinging to a loamy top soil. Perfect roost country.

There is no charge for spectator entry as it is just a club run. If you need more information visit our website at www.vmxwa.com.Racing will start as soon as the fog lifts but there will be plenty to see prior to the start.Min of four rounds with the Dan Ferguson Feature Handicap. Bring your camera and snap some of the best pre '75 machinery on show. There will be a canteen on site (selling food at 70's prices).

See you there!
cheers A

Some great pics, thanks for that. I love the way you guys in the west 'dress-up' for the day with your footy jumpers and such. Much better than here where only 1 or 2 get in the swing of it.
I see what you mean about child abuse, I was searching for the 'report abuse' button when I saw it. How they got there coming out of what looks like a right hander, is beyond me, but it looks like a big off. All ok I hope.
The abuse I want to report is the fact that none of the passengers look to be in the correct position-they need to get out further and lower to prevent the above mentioned 'off'. Show them some shots of the moderns please.

Its a small rural town,so most vmxer's camp the night. To soak up the atmosphere, you would perhaps consider a campervan from a rental company.Food, toilets, campfire onsite.
Wandering Hotel,Wandering Winery also

Wandering is only a couple of hours basically south west of Perth - absolutely gorgeous part of the world - but can and does get bloody cold.
