Title: tm125 model query

gday ,i just bought tm125 in bits on ebay with engine no 32011 .any know what yr model it is .it also has a GEM brand aftermarket reed valve block and reeds and looks like an aftermarket pipe too,its under pipe but has a full lenght silencer welded on similar to elsinore .any ideas on reed unit and model thanks don.

thanks .didnt realize they had engine model list .did 74 model have reed valves or piston port as mine has a  what looks like aftermarket reeds and alloy housing with GEM on the side of it.any ideas.

GEM were an aftermarket reed system maker so not stock at all

thanks tony ,did the 74 come with reeds or something else piston port ,i,m not sure .

All the TM's (except the TM75) were piston port engines.

I had a spare pipe for my TM125L, it was as you decribed, it was a Bassani, it was a little quieter; gave better low-down but less top-end.  Always wanted a reed conversion for the TM to stop it 'loading up', although it never did as bad as the first few CR125's ;-)
