Nice little Monty.50cc
was then sold in 78 or 79 & I moved on to an XR75 for a bit then a new CR80RA
Never seen one since.

Fantastic little Cota's, perfectly scaled down size.
There were two in the Newcastle region even recently - one is still here owned by Rob Facey, not sure about the other, got sold off.
Bultaco had a Chispa(50) and a Brinco(100) which were great for kids, but the Monty looked better I think.

I always wanted a Cota and I have just now realized that I have never even ridden one. ???
They are soooo pretty , especially those little ones :)

I heard that a bunch of Monty trials 50s mopeds were imported to OZ so they could be tested by Australia Post as a possible alternative to the normal Honda step-through postie bikes.

Ive heard that, doubt its true, but how funny a big fat guted postie with 20 kg of mail on a 50cc montesa trials bike!
