Here's a little beasty for the Husky rider who craves a little more kickass. It's a 976cc HVA-Folan powered Husky owned by Klub Kevlar Swedish correspondent Per-Arne Westling.

Wow, the Swedish Military could use it to pull out bogged Tanks!!!

One can only dream of such luxuries.
Check out the frame mod's and extraaaaaaaa long swing arm.
Brings a new meaning to the words open class enduro bike
The cat even looks a little apprehensive.

any idea how the crank is configured firko? 180 degree apart i guess.
pipe is interesting never seen a two into one expansion chamber i'm guessing that would not be real efficent.
over to you Lozza?

Hoony most of the old Suzuki triples (750 550 380cc) ended up with three into one chambers. Loads cheaper than three single pipes. Still NICE Husky maybe fun to ride too. .......of course stealing a Folan sidecar motor sucks a bit............. :D and notice that weird white dust over everything????

cant see a kick starter, so its electric start .even better

ive seen aftermarket perfomance type 3 into one expansion chambers on GT380' suzukis.
cool husky!

The Folan is a 180 degrees and was made to match the EML Jumbo . Both hade a great sound and when the power ( eventually ) came on it was " hold on " . I remember you hade to turn the throttle just after 5 meters of braking point and nothing would happen , but by the time you get to the corner the power was just right to aim and shoot. That was not to the liking of many riders , but when you got used to that , you hade weapon ( on a dry day anyway ).

Far from it Hoony, this type of conversion would be simple in this part of the world. The know how on just about every street corner. All that white stuff in between the bike and the sky is the give away. Sleds(snow mobiles) usually have a 2 into 1 pipe on a production model and 2 singles on the performance model. No other way than 180 deg firing order.
Obviously a product of a long winter, withdrawls, a dare or too much time in the sauna slapping each other with a birch twig. Not to take away from the fantastic job this bloke did. ;D

We tested both Exhausts , and I still have them , the two into one , is the one .The point is when you join the two . Sorry Lozza

Apparently there was an 800cc Husky being developed for Dakar.
Anyone have any news on this - goes back quite some years now.

Well, you have to find something else to do on those long Scandinavian winter nights.
