Does anyone know where i can download an original 72-73 XL250 KO parts book that has all the original numbers in it and not new superceded numbers? Or have a copy they can email to me? Thanks

If you have no joy finding a book, i have a microfiche for the XL250, dated 1981, that I can lend you. Most libraries have michrofiche reader/printers and you could print a copy from the fiche.

I have a genuine parts book that I would be prepared to lend you for a couple of weeks if that's any use.

I have a microfiche reader Col but 81 model is way too new. I need 72/73
Stan, if i cant get one i may take you up on the offer and scan it because i will in no way be finished with just looking at it in a few weeks as it is a long term project but i would be able to scan it in that time. Thanks. It would be a lot easier if there was a PDF copy floating around somewhere though. Its a very popular model.

No worries, if you need it just PM me your postal details. The two weeks is not critical as long as I get it back when I need it.

The fiche is for the 72/73 model, the fiche itself was made/printed in 1981, therefore may have sume updated part numbers which superced those found in a early version parts book.
I also have the XL250 K3 and K4 parts fiche's umongst the several hundred honda parts and service michrofiche in my collection ( one advantage of having worked in the service dept of a Honda dealership).

Although i have a fiche reader i cant print them and no libraries can down here either. I went through this years ago and the only place i could find that could print them was a university or some place in Adelaide and it was going to cost $600 or there abouts. So for now the best option will be a paper copy or if i can find a PDF copy. If that fails i will borrow the one from Stan.
