Paul i had a look at that bike last week... Their prices are ridiculous but they seem to be finding suckers to buy them. I guess there are people out there who will pay the money to get what they want. They bought a couple of containers of bikes from the US and are selling as is...

im just gob smacked with that one ,i notice hes still trying to sell the 80 250 for 8 grand  in the tradeing post .
i actually would like a 83 sand  spider  but not for what hes asking  for his others 
this maico thing  is going mad or at least dead dog raceing

i notice in the ad it says electric start thats why it so expensive
he has done his homework and knows maico riders push start their bikes
so he must have fitted an electric starter ;D
hey john i am surprised you did not see it when you looked at it
could have got some tips for your bike ;D
