Title: Yamaha Help Needed YZ400F (also D, & E models IT etc)

Ok i need some help for a mate that is restoring a YZ400F 1979 model.

he needs a donor frame ( a ratty one or junker) to cut some brackets and sections off, a YZ400 D or E and even an IT frame from same era will suffice.

He is also after plastics for YZ400F, can some one give me the contact of that Aussie guy on NSW sth Coast that was doing repro stuff.

I have 250E and 125G frames if they're of any use. Some of the brackets may be the same or similar.

Thanks Mick, i will let my mate know as i am not sure of interchangeability. he is after the side tank mounts and some other stuff, what do you want for them?

You're looking for VMX Plastics, aka Concourse Parts. Easiest way to get stuff from him is Ebay. In the unlikely event that he doesn't have the guards and front number plates listed, then I'll see if I can dig out a contact number.

I've got a pre-butchered YZ125F frame if its any use?

swingarm & airbox
i need to move along if that be any good to anyone
