All my media coverage is free Ribbo ;D.
I can see the likeness as Roger Harvey has captured so I can understand how you would green with envy :-*. (not like that evil Maico girl animation) :)
October 30 is the date I hear so mark it in your calender, it will be huge and better still, all you old farts immediately qualify ;)
VMX unlimited is the Major sponsor in conjunction with the Hunter Club, more details soon
-
Hey Rosco probably look more like you if you were on your back (unsuccessfully attempting to right yourself). Are even the thought makes me laugh.
-
Who will be?
We shall find out on the 30th October 2011 at Barleigh Ranch near Raymond Terrace NSW.
The date is now locked in and entry details will be available soon.
A big thanks to our major sponsor, VMX Unlimited and the Hunter Motorcycle Club for making the event possible.
If you have any early questions regarding the event please contact myself either via pm, email ([email protected] ) or mobile phone 0418 491 898. I will keep everyone updated as more information becomes available.
Cheers
Dan

Event guidelines have now been released.
We have loaded them up on the Northern Districts MCC web site.
Check them out at http://www.retromx.com.au/events.htm
And if your a NDMCC/Retro MX member don't forget we are doing a practice day at Barleigh Ranch on August 21. Great chance to tune your bike (and yourself) for the biggest VMX meeting of the year in NSW.
Cheers

Yes Shane i'm hoping to be right for that one..it has the potential to be a great meeting. 4 x 10 min motos for each class, will only need to take 1 bike ;)
-

-
You might be the only one in your chosen class Trev.. could be a winner ;D
-
old guys class, here I come ;D 10 min plus 1 lap, ahhhh the things dreams are made of!
-
Yes John it will be a tuff ask for some of us.
Will need to get entries in fast for some of the classes (pre 85 and Evo) as it is a forty bike grid only! Hope this is the case as this event could be a great shot in the arm for VMX and I hear they have some out time Mr Motocross people coming to the event.
exciting times ahead.
Trev, I am in training for this event by riding the modern in 20 minute moto's and so far the training is not going to plan!!
-
sorry to hear the hondas keep breaking down Shane, as i know your fitness is up their with the best ;D
I can lend you a reliable Yamaha if you like?
Cheers Trev, Enviromental Agency Inspector, where ;) what, who?

No doubt about it I need to keep an eye on this forum more often..just found out about Mr VMX...
So everyone must be at least over 30, I'm guessing there'll be an over 40 class within the era classes too?

Yep at least 30yrs at date of meeting
Each ERA/Event will be split in half by age so for example Pre 75 may work out to be <52yrs (Gen X?) and 52+yrs (Boomers?) while Pre90 may work out to be <41yrs and 41+yrs it all depends on the entries this will hopefully ensure two full age classes in each ERA/Event.
There is a great vib about this meeting lets hope it really takes off 8)
This Blog could probably be closed so that discussion is all on the main MR VMX Blog in Turtles post above?
