Ok guys does anyone know how they fitted the twin spot caliper to 85/86/87 WR/TEs.
It looks like the TE,s had them fitted. The 85 rolling frame on ebay right now has twin spots fitted.
I have bought 2 of them ,1 off 85 and 1 off 87 ex usa , they are both the same and will not fit my 86 forks.
Not even close. My 1998 ones are closer.
Looking at the parts books the 85/86/87 [ usa ] fork tubes are all the same part no.
My 86 forks are the same as the us ones, so must be the same as the rest.
Is there a mounting plate not shown in the parts lists ?
I know that the wheels are different , floating and non floating .

Easy when you know how . 87WR 430 forks outta Amerika. :)

Mike,
The '85/'86's only had single piston front calipers, hence the later '87/'88 twin piston calipers don't fit.
