Any "starting weight" suggestions for the fork oil weight for 74.5 KTM?
I have BelRay fork oil in 10, 15 and 30 -- and 20 if I need it at Fozzy's bike shop here in Sale -- any suggestions on what to start trying?
Ceriani forks -- all look to be in good nick -- just want to do fresh oil 'cause I like having everything right.
The manual does not specify a weight -- just says "heavier for harder and lighter for softer" ::)
Thanks

I carn't help you with your forks but I just happened to be in Fozzys the other day and noticed your sweet little red KTM out the back. Very nice.

Yep, it's gonna be funny -- slowest rider on the fastest bike still = slow ;D

I think 15wt would be a good starting point, but remember suspension is a very personal thing. After much experimentation I had the best results in my '74 Husky mag 250 forks by using good old 20/50 engine oil!
Cheers,

Have used ATF with good results...it has great "anti froth" properties also... you can change the "stiffness" by more / less oil in the leg...
