Just out of curiosity :P.
This is the airbox on the MX I got from Shaun.

The RHS of any MX air box I've seen has been sealed by foam strips glued to the side cover. This one has what appear as a OEM rubber cover to do the same (someone has smothered it in white silicon to improve the seal/fit.
I had a look at the parts catalog and can't see it included. Has the Yammy Brains Trust ever seen such a thing? Comments?
Outa curiosity you understand :).

Musta been a mid model improvement/mod ::). It certainly looks 'factory'.

I remember reading a test in us dirt bike on the 74 mod the cover was held on with a huge rubber o ring

He's a step ahead of you Shaun! :D
That airbox has been around: cyclegod, me, you, and now MX.

looks like a standard airbox to me 250/360. nothing out of the ordinary there other than the clip has broken off the end of the securing tab
