Title: canberra dirt track rd 1 this sunday 22nd may

 canberra will be holding our first club round dirt track this sunday 22nd may, enter and sign on 7.00 am to 9.00 am

 classics are running, up to 250cc,    and over 250cc, also over 35s, plus the modern and junior classes

  hope the classic dirt trackers can make the event,   hope to see a few come down for a ride

  so who is keen????  regards elsie 125

 that sux our rounds clashing with nepean, I want too go up there again 4 another ride, looks like it will be the magoo charity meeting again, when i get there again

I can't do this one, family stuff this Sunday. Not too sure about Round 2 either, that's the weekend after Classic Dirt I think. Bugger.

elsie can`t take a winner. nepean/heaven etc.
how good would it be if clubs with the same interests would talk to each other.
elsie the charity meeting this year will be supporting the skin cancer council, a couple of members are having problems with this.
there is an invite to the pre 90 guys too.

thanks micks, need to talk 2each other when calender dates are set, maybe a classic 3 way  interclub meeting, canberra, hunter, nepean, for next year, any interest there!!!!!

 pity you cant make it this sunday graeme, I will be out there on my 250, elsie, that i just got going

Yeah, a shame Pat given the bad luck re the first two cancelled rounds. As it is, the forecast for tomorrow is looking a bit iffy too. On the positive side, I think I've got the go-ahead to race the next round the weekend after CD8. We'll see but it is looking good right now.

Unfortunately I can't make it to either meeting.
Only just this minute finished putting my race engine back together for the titles in Bris.
I think a co-ordinated 3 track challenge is a bloody great idea, don't forget there's now 3 clubs involved in hosting meetings at Nepean.

Ea and I had a great day at Fairbairn Park , Canberra today at the running of ACTMCC's first round of Dirt Track for the year, 4 rounds , the track was great and no injury reports, the weather etc. hasn't been kind early in the year with a round cancelled due to wet weather, as usual EA was the Steward and I did the starts.
Eight Classic's showed up , one 250 and the rest big-bores , here's a shot of the Classic  field blasting out of the tapes, Oh Yeah , the young lady on the YZ400 was going great guns !!

Yeah, Pancho, it was a great day weather wise, jumpers off by one o'clock , top racing in all classes, five sidecars turned up , Dusty sidecar #7, having his first run back after his prang, no sliders and just started to spit rain after the last round.
BTW EA will post the Swagman dvd to you on thursday.

well elsie floated the 3-way idea at the last club meeting, she went straight to the bottom.suggested to use the city of penrith charity meeting date as our date but no takers.
