my side pipe decided to eat its left hand side wrist pin circlip yesterday after running fine for nearly two years! the bore has some good scores and grooves so a rebore is required the current piston is 82mm dia which is 380 first size how big can i go? cz stuff quote up to + 2mm for the 380 but dont know if theres enough meat in the liner on the 360 any one else had a rebore anywhere near this size? (though might get away with 3rd oversize one groove is quite deep)

there are 2 liners for 360 sidepipers 1 early ones wont over bore the 2nd will you can put 380 pistons in them.if you want more info pls email

I made sleeves for my CZ 250, Ossa SDR, as well as big bore 4 strokes and it's not hard, it's just a short pipe with a flange. Cutting the ports out is time consuming though and you need to take care.
Serco used to make thin wall sleeves to repair bores such as your situation also.
If you're up the shit give me a yell.

1 of my sidepiper barrels is at 82.75mm-3rd oversize for a 380, I've measured the liner out of another of them & they're only about 1.5mm smaller OD than my 73 380's so it should be possible to safely go to at least 83mm
