Title: honda 175 1976 kick shaft

Hi guys a friend who's not on the net asked " has anyone got a kick start shaft for a 76 honda 175 ? " He tells me the cases split up and down on this motor . thanks in advance Iain 041 308 1291.

 Unfortunately that was a bad design how they shear off ,and easily the most common fault on that era 175. Warn your friend, it will be very very very lucky indeed to find a non destroyed item. >:(  PS The last NOS one I saw on ebay sold for over US$600..... :o

if its for a mr175 i think i have a nos one was sent to me as a cr250 one but is for 125cr/mr175

I was refering above to the four stroke XL/SL 175. Could you point us to which 175 you are seeking parts for Iain? Thanks Tim754

cases splitting up n down,(vertical) is a bit of a clue Tim, ;) Jimbo might have a sale ;D, :P

Hi guys after reading your posts, they are a great help I didn't know didly squat about Honda's . I presume its a XL/SL with vertical split cases . just got a pm may be in luck . Iain.
