Title: rm fork seals

I'm trying to change the fork seals on a 1977 rm125 but carn't remove the case dust seal (steel ring that holds the dust seal in place) any idea's.

slip a fine flat blade screw driver between seal and ring and it it will come out in one piece sort of fits into a C  section  ( this is with fork tubes out of course)
Then use a tyre lever with a bit of inner tube on the alloy shoulder.

Heating it with a hair dryer helps too.

Thanks DaveyCrocket and Oldfart will get back out in the shed on the weekend and give it another try.
