CR 500's in EML's/VMC's etc were a very poplular choice of engine for motor cross and reliability trials outfits. i know of quite a few. KTM's seem to be the top pick these days though.

1 Cr480rd which had the original front tyre on it until a week a go,it practically fell off.
seat plastics etc all original not show room but still good.
Not sure what to do with her (restore or leave as is) but it is definitely turning over some dirt at Canberra's first round this week end as my RE wont be ready.

I expected to see more 480 rc's than anything else. They are for sale more than any others that i have seen. About four have gone through my hands. I am also seeing a few 84's of late.

I don't quite understand why but it is pretty rare to see a 1983 480RD out on the track but the 450s and 480RC seem to be pretty common. I'd love to know the numbers of each model that were imported.

Magoo our 480rd's will be on the track soon enough to balance out the numbers and it seems that they are the most owned big bore so far

I got a 93 CR500. Does it count? It should cause it's mean. However sometimes it's Hard to see it as mean cause some of the plastics are pretty much pink. I will be fixing that though and turning it into a black beast eventually. Then it will even look mean.
