Hoony after reading MaicoJames starting procedure for a 490 I think Hilly had better head straight over to Paul's pit tent. You are on your own.

hoony has the plan takeing shape ,the cd5 plan
-
Nah, no plan attempted. i'm a DNS for CD5. i didn't have the nerve to front to scutineering as its been hectic here, been back to the hospital a few times since the chequered flag dropped as well. all this as well as the finances to fund a road trip together with 3 weeks off work at present will see me "out of the game".

Hi Guys
I have just finnished building a 1981 Maico 490. Only waiting for graphix and new Works Performance rear suspension to race at the inaugral version of your Classic Dirt in South Africa in June 2008. I have also almost finnished building up the ex Gary Jones Honda imported from the USA and a third 1978 Honda 250.
The Maico in question is period bar regretably the black rims. I will post a pic . I cannot believe the similarities to your bike Paul, nice going looking good
