Title: YZ125E Swingarm Bushes
Post by: SLAWESY on April 26, 2011, 06:33:47 pm
Hi Guys
I need to sort out a sloppy swingarm on my 125E, Any suggestions regarding replacement bushes?? Are NOS available? Can something else be used?
I have heard that it can be quite a pain to get this sorted out.
Any experience with a similar task would be appreciated.
Cheers

Hi Slawesy

The bearings and bushes are still available yamaha but only one side sleeve is still listed (same as 250/400 which uses the same size on both sides). They use a bearing on the out side and a plain nylon bush on the inside. All up the bits that are still available will be $100+

I have not done this but will next time I will, buy the All Balls swing arm kit ($150) for a 250/400E and shorten one sleeze.

You could use all four bearings instead of the nylon bushes on the inside for better control.

Just a thought!

Thanks Pete,
So the kit from All Balls will have most of the bits I need I just need to shorten one of the sleeves? I will get on to that, sounds like an relatively easy option.
Thanks for the info.
