its a personal choice thing, but for me it's an 85' or 86' CR500.

I would say the 1982.5 500 CR is highly sought after, revered and slightly scary  ;D ;D ;D ;D

    I reckon the "mythical" CR 430 would of been "the ride "of the decade :P

I realize you would be referring to vintage bikes... but I think the most sought after CR would be a 2001/2002 CR500E that has ADR compliance.

Ha, not so Alison, i offered many a ride on it and only Roger Harvey took up the offer, i had 4 knockbacks, felt like i was at home with the Mrs  :D hope you have a safe trip home.

Based on looks and what they are actually like to race, heres my list...

1. 85-89 CR500
2. 00 CR250
3. 87 CR250

Haven't got a Honda in the collection as yet, but working on it. I'm a fan of the 82 CR 480, but for mind it would be an 87-89 CR 500 or 250.

Close but not good enough


 Aircooled-    1 1973 Cr 250

                  2. 1978 Honda cr 250 Red Rocket

                  3. 1983 Honda CR 480

Watercooled  1- 1985 Honda cr 500

                   2- 1988 Honda CR 250


                    3- 1993 hONDA CR 500

Based on the above Honda made a really good bike in 5 year cycles

Kinda like the 250RB .... over looked as everyone was dotty on the CR450, but first pro link, water pumping CR250

I like it ;D, It did make the top 10 of worst dirt bikes ever in Dirt Bike magazine.

Yeah but that doesn't mean much to VMXers, CR450  was great looking bike and first open classer, then Honda gave us CR480 which is one of the best open class bikes.

I agree the 480 was a top bike and received great reviews, I just don't get the look of the front number plate on the 450. What was the thinking behind that one ???
