For any Darwin locals who secretly frequent this site, get your bikes out and get them sorted.
At the DMCC meet at Gunn point road on April 6, the club has agreed to run a vintage only class if enough of us turn up!
This is a vintage friendly, natural terrain track that I've raced my XT on for the last 6 years.
Depending on numbers, we will either run with "C" grade (as I usually do) or run in our own class. The number of riders needed, not sure but 8 or more would be a fair guess.
Between my mate and my self we should have 4 bikes so will loan two of them out for the day.
Rule will be made up on the day with rule No 1 being HAVE FUN!
We will be taking flyers to the local bike shops and it will be in the club newsletter.
Any interest PM me, email me or ring 0417 838 412
Cheers

Thanks guys,
Tony, there's a lot of bikes up here, tucked away in sheds etc. I pick up a suzuki TM125 at the local dump shop a few weeks ago. We just need to get them out.

Guts effort Brent and well done for trying.
The Cuban revolution started when Castro asked for a show of hands - and look where they are now!

Brent,
i have an ex Victorian mate (Andrew Hall) up there at Parap who has both a CR250RE & CR500RE who should be a starter.

Thanks for the words of support guys but we are going to have to put things back til the next meeting due to a few dramas.
Hoony, I'll try and get hold of your mate, I know the name for some reason. Is he likely to race?
I'll go out and "fly the flag" again tomorrow and try not to fall off.
Here's some links to previous events.
I'm on #500 on my XT and my mate is on #99 on either a WR200, YZ250D or YZ250G
