Hi guys,
Can anyone tell me where to get some reasonably priced replacement wide footpegs as mine are pox. Do other years fit.
I know the YZ's back to front, but I'm a bit lost with this little Honda ::)
It is one of my favourites though - I love the classic look and the down pipe 8)
Thanks in advance for any help.

Tony - first thing I do with a bike is take the pegs off and send them to GMC - Geoff - they come back with wide pegs fitted and original mounts. Good price to - haven't been disappointed yet.
cheers

Pit bike footpegs fit and they are reasonably priced, same ones on my mates XL250 fit on CR125M too.

Thanks CG - I'll look into it.
Rossco, I think the old ones are too far gone to be fixed. My missus also keeps asking me when we are going to visit Geoff, so we can see the extension on his house that we paid for ;D ;D

The pit bike ones do fit but I don't like the ones you have cyclegod as they are like a cast metal and have a brittle look about them. Best to buy a heavy duty set. I have had a footpeg break while standing up and its not a good feeling.
The ones I put on the '77 I used to have are a good set. got them from a pit bike shop when it was quality stuff like BBR.

About 3 months ago I purchased a set of footpegs and mounts from EBAY -- said to be "chromemolly", not sure about the steel but they look good quality and I cut and welded on the mounts and they work fine on the 73 husky -- the ebay address is
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330496845045&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
but you will see no longer listed -- so best you go to ebay store for "DHZ MINI MOTO" and ask -- they are probably just out of stock.
Price is about $60 -- probably getting ripped off but a spare set of pegs was another $20 and as said look well made and fitted up nicely

They still have that cast look about them. On second look they say they are alloy so they should be okay.
I had a bit of a search and like these.

Thanks Brad, you are a champion. They come with new pins as well. They look like steel, but they certainly look more solid. My biggest trouble was trying to pick something that fitted. You have solved that for me. See you at CD8.
-
the ones i got were off a moto vert pit bike stainless steel thay were $100.00 they come with springs and pins i think the pins were to small so i used the ome ones i fitted them to a 82 cr250 i would get stainless .come to think about it i drilled the peg holes out .

Thanks Guys - plenty of options there 8). I will see what I can come up with
-
These are made for the 125M no mods needed, use the stock pins and springs.

I PUT WIDE PEGS ON MY 77 CR125M, GO TO YOUR LOCAL HONDA SHOP, ORDER A SET OF FOOTPEGS FOR A CRF230, 04 TO CURRENT, 60 BUCKS, THE PAIR
-
Now you tell me Elsie ::) ;D ;D ;D
I was trying to keep the budget a bit lower as I have quite a few bikes to keep going and a number of projects to finish. Those stainless ones look great, but $100 was out of the price range I was thinking of ::). I ordered some of those ones Brad suggested (about 2 minutes after he posted them), so I'll see what they are like. If they don't work out I will go for the CRF ones.
Thanks for the help guys. Who would have thought there were so many great options.
Valuable information for any CR125M owner 8) 8) I'm learning more about this little beast every day ;)
