Title: Interchangeability of Honda CR 450 1981 and Honda CR 480 1983 ELECTRICS

Anybody know if these bikes electrics are interchangeable ? Fly wheel, coil and CDI ?tHANKS

as far as i know yes but you will need to set the timing on the flywheel to suit your needs

Well I would be inclined to say no myself. They change so much from year to year. I tried to put a kickstart shaft between an 81 and 82. They look the same but are slightly different and won't fit. I have a feeling the 81 and 82 are closer but from memory the 83 system is different just to look at.

stroke is the same i know that much just the crank keyway that may be an issue but either way why not run an 83 ignition
