Me, I just don't know it yet ;) ;)
-
Dont bikes have to be vintage to be at CD5 ::)
-
it's okay Bill, it's a flow on model the previous model was 1987 and before that '86 and then '85 which was a flow on from '84, they were all green with yella plates so it's technically legit ;)
-
you might be able to bring it along to CD10 ::)...
-
docs right they are all legal i might bring all mine ;D
-
Cool ill order an 08 KX 450 F to bring cos one day that will be Vintage too ::)
No question its a Beautifull machine it just ain't Vintage though :P
-
No harm in showing it off. Beats leaving it in the shed.Especially something as trick as that!
-
thats right i might bring it along then ::)
-
I reckon the KX500 (SR500) and the CR and RC500 Hondas up to 1990 do all but fit in the vintage scene even if.
Unlike the new generation 400/450 4 strokes the KX's and CR's didn't change all that much and up to alloy spar frame models they wouldn't look out of place in pre'85 grid. Maybe I am a little ignorant of these models but to me from about '85 - '90 there was little change with the open class 2 strokes :-\ or was there ???

Fair comment :) it is bloody trick 8)

Sorry to say that if that bike turns up at CD5, it will have to be surrendered to me because it's not pre-85. :o ;) ::)

It's certainly a beautifully engineered weapon.
There are nine photos from different angles on Terry Goodes 'MX Works bike' site (in Photos/your photos) if you want to see more.

And another view.

I take it that Terry has bought it.
-
No, I don't believe he's bought it.
It's shown as an ex Kurt Nicoll bike currently owned by Dave King in England.
So it's still a chance for CD5...
