I have a couple of RM80's I need help figuring the year models.
A. Engine number C105-100708 - Frame number 1C11C-105235
B. Engine number C105-105472 - Frame number 1C11C-105407
I'm pretty sure I have it figured as A. '84 engine and '83 frame and B. being all '84 but I can't find specific reference to the numbers.
Both w/cooled with drum brakes front and rear
A. 'had' black frame, black seat, silver fork lowers, gold alloy rims
B. 'had' blue frame, blue seat, yellow fork lowers, silver alloy rims
They appear pretty much identical in all other aspects but being far from nice original examples I can't be 100% sure ??? Between the 2 I'm able to build 1 nice bike using both the A. frame and engine but incorporating other parts from the B. bike.
clear as mud ::) anyone have reference for the frame numbers in particular as they don't match any of my lists ???

The boys and I had an 84 model blue and blue once Doc that matched your description. Found the engine number on an old parts order C105-1054** * because unreadable due to miosture. Parts were listed as being for 1984 model. Cheers Tim754

Thanks muchly Tim, as usual through indecision I've decided to built it using the best bits I have rather than worrying if it's 100% model correct or not. I like my bikes to be nice but I like them to be a personal reflection also. Can't have it both ways ;) Was hoping to have it finished on the weekend :P it's going to be another week at least but there's no rush and I'll be much happier with it given some extra time :)
