Gents - have a mate who currently has Jeff Leisk's supercross bike from 83 - basically a bike set up for when he came nothing more. It is in excellent nick and pulls like a train - I was impressed I must admit when it pulled my arms out of their sockets. Is there much interest as he doesn't ride much and is looking at selling it? What sort of dollars - are 83 models sought after etc? Maybe I buy it from him?????
cheers

if you can afford it - buy it. even if you can't. i had one and thought it great. ex-leisky would be fabulous (aftermarket susp, engine etc). top pre-85 bike. no big bugbears (apart from water pump corrosion, alloy shock).

How do you know it's ex Leisky?
-
please prove it ???

the bike was originally bought by my mate from Steve Moritz over here in Joondalup - local well known rider. Goo just going on what Steve has said but shouldn't be too hard to prove. Saying that it looks like it is fairly standard anyway just has been really well setup for a ride for him over here as I said earlier - not a major selling point but boy does it go.
So the question still remains - a really well presented, well looked after RD - what is a fair price? Whether it is an ex Leisky bike or not?
;D

Hey Rossco, if it's as good as you say, buy it. They're a fantastic bike in every way (except the water pump cover)

Well, I sold mine quickly for $2800. That was race ready, new tyres, lots of spares.

thanks Gents - the feedback is appreciated. Will let my mate know.
cheers
