To clarify, I take it you are talking about RT2 and DT360 pistons. I'm 99% sure they are the same although there are variations with the MX (single Dykes ring).

When I first got my RT1 [no reeds] it had a reed type piston fitted and a Dykes ring. It went really well as long as you kept it revving. Would that have been from a 360 MX?
What's the general concensus on the Dykes ring?  Are they considered better these days? When I first heared of them years ago they were supposed to be the goods. pancho

NO.  differant.

Appart from the bore size.....  where do you go from there.

Ealry DT/RT are non reed blank pistons.............. reed DT2/3 RT2/3 that are Reeds need the 2 windows.

in all the above they made single ring, double ring and also doulble with dykes.

There are heaps of versions, there is some that are better than other for sure same with the rings.  Guess if you want to go cheap runabout or race ?
i have a few sets here up to 2mm over what are you after ? i might be able to help ya when you need one, just pm me.
