Title: 2 stroke speedway bike.

Is there a member that knows something from this speedway bike.

<In the seventies,Bill Hammerling used a two stroke engine in a speedway frame .I
have seen him using this combo at Kembla Grange, Fraser Park and Goulburn
tracks. He lived in the ACT at that time, the seventies, that is.
In the VSRA (Australia)book he calls himself Bill "2 Stroke" Hammerling>

G'day Dutch
I have been trying to track down a photo of Bill Hameling's SC 500 powered speedway bike , but no luck so far, Kevin Patton knew him well and I have asked him to have a look through his photo collection , I must get in touch with Kevin again and see how he went.
I will also try John Walker , he was about when Bill was riding so he may have something.
I remember racing against Bill at Tralee Speedway in Canberra , but that track has long gone as have most of the riders.

Been on the phone to John Walker and he has given me Bill Hammerling's Queensland phone  number, no answer at the moment will try him again tomorrow.
