Title: pro circuit pipe 1989 cr 500

Does anyone have one of these fitted, I recently purchased one from ebay, but it doesn't fit properly, it gets hung up on the radiator hoses above the waterpump.
The standard pipe has an indentation to go around the hoses, but the PC one doesn't.
The plate on the pipe says 89 500R which I assume means it should fit, but it appears by the weld that the plate was fitted AFTER the nickelplating.   :(
Have I been shafted >:(

Hi Evo 550. I recently purchased a new Pro Circuit "platinum" pipe for my '89 CR500 from ebay seller "ATV Unlimited", but I haven't put it on the bike yet. The nickel plated pipe looks great and was really cheap, so I hope it fits ok . I will let you know if it doesn't .

Mine was s/hand from an Aussie ebayer. It came with a silencer that looks more like it belongs on something from a '93 onwards.

I have fitted a new PC 89 CR500 pipe and it fits fine, fits as well as the original. Just went and had a look and the PC pipe has a slightly flattened section on the inside of the pipe to clear the hoses
