Title: Making an air box,
Post by: oldfart on March 29, 2011, 08:51:57 pm
Up date on Ts Hybrid ,   this is an extention added to guard to stop dirt entering air box
First I got some foam and contoured it  to get a feel of what it was going to look like.
Then I used 3 lb lead ....lead is easy to work with and can be very forgiving - put it in the sun for a few minutes to warm up and off you go. If you make a mistake and cut too much off clean the edges up with a (shave hook or knife ) and use a soldering iron .

Bottom pics show plugs on RHs and finished products to LHs
