Title: rm 125x to 125n front wheel swap

G'day folks,
                can anyone tell me if a 1981 rm125x front wheel will fit straight onto a 1979 rm125n? Also, would that make the bike ineligible for pre 80 vmx?

I believe the axle size is larger on the 125X. The wheel would not be legal for pre'80 regardless as it differs considerably from the RM125N/T wheel due to the straight pull spoke/hub setup  ;)
