I want to know is Redcliffe suzuki still in business I found a sticker on one of my pe400's that says Redcliffe Suzuki 210 Anzac ave maybe they would still have an old sales record if it is still in bussiness???
Any info appreciated, thanks Michael.

So far as I remember Redcliffe Suzuki closed years ago. It was also known as Graham's Auto Centre but he sold the Zooks on the side hence Redcliffe Suzuki. Pretty sure Graham's Auto still exists though just not the Suzuki bit ;)
speaking of older shops, Dodgee flung this my way the other week 8) fits my '78 JR50 pilot perfectly and is just what he needed to complete his vintage mini-rider image ;)

It used to be a little shop at the bottom of the hill near the spray painters, last time I went passed it was all gone and some giant furniture discount place stood there. They always had new PE's in stock there and the locals bought a few. Recliffe had some great riding in the late 70's.

Yeah that's Graham Clements that owned Redcliffe Suzuki and Grahams Auto Centre, i used to race with his son Rodney. Pretty sure he's still the owner of Grahams Auto in Redcliffe.

Ok great trying to get some background info on my 400z thought that if they were still open they may have had an old sales record for it but probably not now would be very interesting to find some info on it.
Also my 400 has the vinyl for a race number on the side plate and looks like it has had other stickers too so worth checking them out to see what other stickers I can match up the pipe has been cut to remove the baffling it is an interesting bike.
Also haven't weighed it yet but it is complete and feels about 10kg lighter than my pe400t and X the 400X has the barrel off at the moment but the 400z feels a lot lighter which has got me it has gearbox oil.

Theres no way it could be 10 KG lighter. There are not many areas you can cut weight on these unless you were to swap all the bolts and nuts for TI. I would say the difference you noticing would be all in the pipe. They can easily have a build up of a KG or 2 of carbon and oil but not 10 kg. So both bikes your comparing have batteries and blinkers? same shocks? Are the forks low on oil? do both tanks have the same amount of fuel? Does the heavier one have aftermarket 8G spokes? etc etc. There is quite a weight gain from going to 8G from 9G spokes. I weighed the different sizes and it was enough or a weight gain for me to think i didn't need them.

I am saying that as a guess to pick up the bike it feels lighter than my 400t and 400x I will weigh it and see for sure because I suspect it is lighter. ;)
