Title: NOT VMX.... Suzuki GSX 250F Across
Post by: Hoony on March 20, 2011, 08:44:18 am
can anyone help with a part number for an after market air filter element to suit a 1996 Suzuki GSX 250F Across.

the original item is Suzuki part # 13780-24D00

the genuine item is exy and a mate is using this engine for lawnmower racing requiring very regular changes.

I think they have the same engine as the Suzuki Bandit GSF250, which was briefly imported here, but is more commonly seen as a grey import. You could try one of the shops that specialise in grey imports like Sumoto or Victorian Motorcycle Wreckers.

Same part from grey import Bandit 400 might fit too. Maybe.

There's a link to service manuals here that might be of some help.

'a mate is using this engine for lawnmower racing '.... arrr is good to know there be other weirdos out there  ;       Tim754
Most size foam  Pods for chumpsters can be purchased in bulk (10 or more at a time) on ebay Hoony  works out at a faction of the single unit price, last lot of 12 to suit the sidecar I scored,  ( good quality too!) worked out at $4.70 Each!!!

get a set of 250 Katana carbs and put some pods on them, better than the GSX250 setup
