would 1983 yz 125 and 250 wheels be the same size? front wheel im more worried about?

Yeah, you find a few oddities in parts like that.
They even appear to be the same width.
Might have been some left over works parts ;D

The different part No.s might be becuase one of those years was gold anodised

83 and 84 both gold!

Zedder strikes again...
The 83 models had thirty six normal spokes.
84 model YZs had the infamous Z-spokes with 32-hole rims - Zedder has the two years of YZ250 swapped around.
FWIW, the 23X front hub is operationally identical to the earlier conical hubs (322, 1K7, 2A6 types) - all four types take the same bearings, spacers, brake plates/shoes and spokes.
