Does anyone know anything about this pipe? It has MCM on it, as a manufacturing logo.
It was bought in 1971 for my DT1F and only used for a short time. I was told it was a bit noisy. It also made the clutch slip so I guess it went well.
Cheers, Grahame.

looks like a bassani shape
Graham do have a mustang? what model
-
I dont think its a bassani pipe more like a whispering smith pipe or a torquer pipe both USA made

Hi Bazza,
No Mustangs in the shed, just a V6 Capri. Hopefully one day a 69 Mach1 can keep it company.
Cheers.

I've got both Bassani and Torque Eng. DT1 pipes and it's neither of them. I've got a really nice set of MCM pipes for my Triumph so if it's stamped MCM, it most probably is.

Hi Firko,
Who is MCM? Where were they made? The bike had a GYT barrel and different carburettor as well, but these had been sold a while ago.
Cheers, Grahame.

I don't know much about them Grahame. They seem to have made a bigger range of 4 stroke pipes. That's the first 2 stroke pipe I've seen.

Messina Custom Manufacturing I think ?
