Left one is 1980 PE175/250/400, the other one is obviously PE but i wouldnt like to buy it and discover the hidden surprises under that horrible yellow paint. For your information, all the plastic PE tanks are interchangeable with each other even though capacities vary, the mounts are the same. Rough rule of thumb capacities vary from 12 L for 78, 11.5 for 79 and 10.6 for 80-84, but its no definite ruling i have had some late model tanks that i know are the original ones shipped on the bike from factory and they have measured much more than the factory spec of 10.6 liter. I am not the only one who has discovered this either. If you look underneath the tank there is a date moulded into the tank when it was made. This date does not indicate what model bike its off though. It simply says when it was made.

Pic # 2 gives it away also  with Pe seats and a air box
If those swing arms have a little tab welded on LHS to bottom of chain sliders .... they be Pe  also.

Oldfart...It's funny knowing that they are PE tanks and focusing ONLY on the tanks...i didn't even see the swingarm and seat   :D
Alison has been stocking up on PE parts in WA that has trouble making it to Vic and is bringing the container to HBBB for you and I Michael  ;) and she would have NO trouble selling the stuff too!
There might be a PE175X in there for me ;D ;D ;D

-404 is RM250/400N, but yeah, shared by the PE250/400T and RS250T/X.
-406 is specifically PE250/400T/X and also the RS250T/X

Looks like there is quite a stash of PE parts in WA. Are you building up a collection of PE stuff 247?

pre85mxwa and vmxwa club are holding a swapmeet on Saturday 26th,so sorting though the seacontainer/shed.. amazing whats in there.  :o
A hoarder from way back, hope I find a buried CCM in there some where  ;D
I dont think the PE gear will sell that well as we have no Vinduro over this way.But if they are interchangable that of course will differ.
