A/M levers are available for about $25 locally.

apparently the A/M are prone to breaking ?  and i said cheap...................... as in $10 incase it dont fit.

Not had any feedback on them being fragile. :-\  Get the steel one with folding tip.

Freaky, I can supply you a steel folding tip lever for the XR - $24 plus some post. If you are looking to modify one then steel can be easily cut and welded ;D
