dont worry too much about how many mls. I just did my 1983 cr whic i reckon has the same forks apart from the disc front end, with the spring removed and the fork full compressed i filled it up to 130mm from the top i pumped it upa nd down a bit to bleed it then checked the level, for dirt track i am using 15wt maybe for moto x 10wt would be beter. i reckon i used about 1.2 lt all up. dont shoot u self in the eye!

Kane it should be 135mm from the top.  They were set up that way when I did them ... is there a problem?

no prob. just setting up bike to my liking. heavier oil to slow down dampening. i have put a pipe on it and different airfilter. looking now for a cr rear end for it. thanks.
