I haven't used one. But they are rotationally moulded - not vacuum or injection.
They seem pretty tough…

I purchased a KTM clark tank and are very happy with it, The cap is shit thou and the only nice looking aftermarket ones are $40.00 ???

What's the finish like? Smooth & a dull shine like OEM or "Orange peel" & just dull like a lot of aftermarket stuff?

More dull shine I say , I would buy another one from them , Mine is KTM red and looks something like mid 80's Honda colour wise so I guess they use the same batch mix.

I have one on my KX125 and it's A1. Finish and quality is excellent. Owners/operators of Clarke (visited them at their factory a couple of years ago) are really great people to boot.

I got one, its totally fine finish wise, but mine was not ultra glossy/glassy looking but if you want it like that you could wizz over it with some polish only to have the gloss wear off on the first ride anyway. Put it this way, they are no worser than OEM dirt bike plastics. No orange peel effect either.The only complaint i had with it was that it didnt hold the advertised capacity. They told me the model i bought was one of their very old universal models and the mould had been repaired many times over the years which had caused a loss of capacity, but i tend to think they over estimated tha real capacity as the tank doesnt look like the mould was repaired much, not enough to cause more than a liter reduction in capacity. I would buy another one though.

I bought one for a YZ250L and am very happy with it. All most good as OEM. Have been running it for over a year now.

i bought a large one (14.5 litre) for a CR250 back in 1988, still got it and no problems. i don't use it anymore but did right up to 2005.
