Well I just finished working on my bike for tomorrow.
It actually feels good to get into these things early for a change (well any time this side of midnight is early)
I rode the KDX early in Jan but it was running really lousy, then I remembered that I had parked it at Decembers Castella because it was running lousy.
Finally got around to looking at it this arvo and found, as suspected, a heap of water in the carb.
Hopefully its source is not in the fuel and tomorrow will be trouble free.
See you there

Cheers Mick.

I woke up this morning with serious case of reality check as the realism of my major lack of fitness hit home.
My energy saving technique of sitting down all the time didn’t seem to spare my thigh and calf muscles from being over worked.
Such is the pain from riding a fantastic track.
We were treated to around 13Km’s of semi tight winding bush tracks. Couldn’t believe how many times the track turned back on itself yet it was rare to see other bits of the track as the bush was so dense.
I managed 3 laps and I tips me hat to the many that did way more than me.
I have resolved to start training immediately, well, maybe next Monday.

Congats and thanks to the Oakleigh club for running another hassle free day with a fantastic course that was both easy and challenging, depending on what pace you wanted to ride.
I thoroughly enjoyed it.

How much will you pay me not to show it Jerry?
15 min of a guy (who we trust with our lives during accidents and ill health but has trouble with buttons on electronic gear) staring into the lense saying, I think its on ;D

I would like to thank Geoff Morris for lending me battery's to be able to keep taking small film clips of everyone at 3 Bridges Vinduro and of course photo,s sadly though my little $140 camera does not take as nice a shots as Richard Reeve's very nice camera, I was having a chat with Richard and he was telling me he would be putting his photo's on flicker for all to view free, good on you for doing that mate, catch you at another Vinduro sometime.

PS, thanks again Geoff you saved the day for me.

Cheers Mick.

You can stop sweating Jerry.
It’s rather ironic actually, the reason we didn’t film ourselves pathetically trying to get the camera started was because we were too pathetic to get the camera started.

No worries Mick, glad to see you snapping away. I was way too stuffed to get the camera out myself after doing a couple of laps.

Yep, 3 laps was it for me, by the time I caught my breath after the 3rd lap it would have been dark. Any way my elbows were starting to drag on the ground and me tongue nearly got caught in the spokes.
It was a bloody great track to ride though, apparently they run some moderns there sometimes too.

What a great ride, great weather, not dusty or too muddy like last year. It was great to see some well presented European bikes out there. I managed 7 laps on the old OSSA but have been strugeling to walk for the last 4 days. Special thanks to the Oakley motorcycle club for putting on a awesom day.
