Its an acerbis tank from a gilera...
I'll start it with the kickstart when it arrives  ;D

Tell us more, interesting looking frame, looks a lot like a Curtis frame, I have a pair of C & J Honda XL350's

Is that inlet tract re-angled, looks great, shame it has knobbies on it.

Great looking weapon you have there...serious rubber on the back as well. Tell us the guts on the engine.

..its a sideport 250 engine with the inlet machined and welded to make it downdraft centre port , the port is now 38mm and the exhaust port is 42mm..with 35mm inlet and 30mm exhaust stainless jawa speedway valves,springs and ti retainers,with combustion chamber altered to suit.
The rockers have been converted to rollers and it has a needle roller cam to suit, it has a carillo rod fitted with a larger 12:1 piston giving a total cc of 298....i've been experimenting with electronic ignitions but will use points until I get it dialed in..

wow,i'm impressed,i'm digging the roller rockers  8),who made them?,powroll?, jawa 5mm stem size,or did you go to 6mm,use a bit of jawa stuff meself,(optimum collett grooves ;)) :P

hi mick...i got the head and rockers in a crate of engine bits from a bloke who used to grasstrack back in the 70's , i went with 7mm stems to match the jawa guides that are fitted in the head ..

phoarrr ,thats different,7 fugging mm  :o,(at least it should be bulletproof ;D),long rod,or short rod,bet all the guys with centre ports heads on the shelf are groaning ;),(can't give em away ::))still thats what pre78's for eh?,good luck with it Davey

I have done a few CDI conversions now using XR200 parts.
