What forks are available or eligible to be used for pre 60.
I am looking to change the forks on my Jawa. and l am think about using leading link fork off a greeves. any ideas.

Look at Royal Enfield as well, they were amoungst the first with proper tele fork legs

Norton Roadholder seem to be the best available in the era. If they were the go on GP Litos and Monarks, I reckon they'd be fine on a Jawa Californian Dave.

Thanks Fellows, l rode the bike on sunday and it went very l was surprised, the jawa forks flex, so l would like to change them. l feel the pre60 will start to grow down here in Vic.

It's possible to fit later model internals to the norton roadholders, if you do some reading up on the pre65 trials shamble they have in the uk you'll find that some are running forks that are basically 2011 model stuff hidden inside. :o
Going on that it shouldn't be too hard improve them, only limitation is your imagination & bank balance ;)

211 Kawasaki, Dave, would greeves Banana leading link be eligible for pre 60.
MA Ruling. for pre60 page 18, Leading /trailing Link front suspension is limited to 150mm (6inch) vertical movement at the axle.
Pre60 class NO Ceriani type forks are permitted.
So to my understanding AJS, Bultaco Matador and Hatia leading axle forks are allowed, and Leading Link. Very Good.
