nah.. it's okay, I was actually happy Muz had started it and mixed the water with the oil to create a sludge that wrecked the bearings and seals but left little to no corrosion anywhere! 8)

Just the chain and new back tread to go..the fluro grips are the 6y/o pilots preference ::) I'm used to them now but I know they come as a bit of a shock! ;D

nice job as always Doc, RM80 C?
-
RM50N Hoony thanks :)..another budget throw me down the track rebuild to make the little people happy ;) ..me included ;D
-
You're amazing Doc. Do you sleep?
-
66, I could go a big sleep right now but I'm hungry also so it'll have to wait..I do get up early which is when I do a lot of the fiddly bits, mornin' sun, coffee in hand and no interuptions..best time of the day for me ;D
-
I take my hat off to you once again Chris 8)
-
Another victory for the little guy! Great job Chris.... ;D
-
Thank you Brent and Muz for finding the little beast in the 1st instance! ;) Picture does it a little justice but even still it's a nice thing for minimal coin and it sounds and feels sweet :)
Mark, the little guy has only been riding for a few weeks and I'm yet to take him anywhere decent where he can 'open it up' as I've promised :D for mine he already appears cramped on the JR and he needs to learn gears and clutch as his throttle operation is perfect..little smart arse! ::) The '77 RM80 is way too big and the TM75 way too heavy so it's the best we could do as a stop gap for a year or so. At least they're getting used and I'm getting in some ride time even if it is aboard a stealthy quiet SL100 or TS100 :) all good for me ;D

that was my helmet by the way! :( never seen a kid sweat like him so it's now his :D
-
oh! thanks to Macho Mick as well. He supplied the guards though they were both fronts..emphasis on were :D yes I cut corners but eh, I'd cry seeing $400 nos plastics getting trashed so this way I feel much better. Not that there is anything wrong with Mick's stuff ;D but he can hopefully make more if needed ;) I'll shut up now before I put my hoof in it more ::)
-
What can be said that hasn't been said before?
Amazing Chris ;)
-
:D spoilt little shit or what Mario! ::) me I mean! ;D
Never mind the kid, I'm really looking forward to getting out for fortnightly Sunday rides again and now I've someone who'll bitch like hell if we don't go :D
I've another mate Brett (just talking about him in another post) he's keen to take his young bloke out on his PW which is ironically another mini I'd done a number on some years back. We've private property to ride at Samford away from the idiot factor which is a bonus 8)
-
Spoilt or not,i think its great to share that with your kids.
None of my family or close friends have any interest in bikes whatsoever, only my workmates.
I love the look on your boys face...lol.
No shortage of bikes when he grows up!
-
actually Mario the kid (RC) is not mine and not related at all to me genetically :) he belongs to my ex and her partner which may seem a little odd but he's my Claytons kid, the kid you have when you don't have a kid ;D if he goes ballistic or tropo I simply send him back to the parents but that rarely happens ;D
-
Lol....ok,not a bad deal you got going there Chris.
I had that arragement a few years ago,now her kids are taller than me and when they go ballistic and tropo.....i was the one that went home ;D
Still nice in what you are doing though.
