Marzocchi front fork 40mm ???
must be 38mm isn`t?
40mm marzocchi came later with 1982 or 1983 ktm i thought so.
I need the kickstart gear from this bike so maybe i buy this 414 ;)
-
Yeah should be 38mm but i do know of someone who squeezed 40mm onto his bike they were off a KTM or Armstrong.
-
414VF should be 35mm i think?
Sandy.

Nice, wish I hadn't sold mine few years back, but I have to say I prefer my '77 VB360 over the VF

Hmmmm, interesting, why's that?

38mm forks on the VE/VF.
Everybody that's ever ridden a VB says they prefer them over the 414's (and some people that have ridden neither ::)). When pushed these people usually admit they've had little or nothing to do with the later bikes.
I know what I'd rather be racing in the Evo (twin-shock) classes.... ;)

What about vg/h7 vs 360vb/414ve-f ?

so what will this bring at auction :o looks like its a easy crayfish

C'mon all you guys on The Continent. Start biddin' it up! You know you want it...... ;)

The VB just "feels" much slimmer and lighter to me. I would say it was the FIM-style side panels that bulged out, same as my '79 Buls. I also like the VB tank as it lets you get way up there. My current VB has the RaceTech emulators and Works shocks in the rear. My dream bikes would be a VG or Bul MK15 420 and I'd love to try a Ossa GPIII

Didn't make the reserve last time, so now you know what he wants.
Safest way (for the UK guys) to get this is to take a weekend and some cash and go off to France........
