G'day all. I have been a member of OZVMX for some time, but recently found the FORUM (?) ... Don't ask.....
Anyway... I have been riding/racing bikes for 35 years, and have dabbled a little in resto's.
My pride and joy is my late fathers' old 1972 XL250 Motosport, as pictured below. I have posted a before, and after shot... It was a labour of love !!
I have a real nice '85 CR250 RF (useless in the PRE-85 classes! grrr....) which I restored (pictured below) and have recently started building a 1983 KX250 C1 (gotta LOVE those bikes!! and that "turtle-head" looking rear fender!) ..
I need bits for the 83 KX250, so if anyone has anything lying around then please let me know!! :)
Anyway... I plan on heading to CD8 this year and hopefully the C1 will be there.
Ciao !

Hey Hardo,
they are all very impressive well done. My favourite (of all things) is the XL250 as an apprentice I sold them when they were new and also had one on the road as well.
Regards Stan.

Finally finished after 12 months of getting parts. (started with just a bare frame!!) .
I certainly don't recommend building a bike this way... :o
CD8 ready ! ;D
Next project will be a 1980 KX125 A6 ... or an '81 A7 ... still not really sure what I have!! :-\
