I've decided this year will be a dirt track year for me. In talking to a few people, I've discovered there are some others who like me are going to do more dirt track as well.
So, who's thinking that they'll mix it up a bit this year with some flat track action?
-
Looks like I will have to give it a go. Seeing as it's (the nat's) at Nudgee this year. Last time was the 3 hour at Maryborough in '85.

Me....once I've had the op. I'm having a ride on the new projects, hopefully including the Benelli 650 at the HBBB dirt track at Easter, then I'll slowly creep back in.

Looking forward to a big year, less organizin more racin, been trying to get to the US for a 2 mth holiday and ride a vintage meet while there but finding it difficult to get a contact over there. Any help would be appreciated, the forums seem unhelpful.

You have got life sorted out Pete, less work more play

You've got to stop following Pete, Dave.
I must add that I'm jealous, of Pete, not you obviously.
I am on the lookout for a potent pre75 ride so I'm probably gunna be following you both around, for a while.
You will be a welcome addition to to start lists Brad.

The Maryborough Motorcyclist club will be holding their dirt track series at Action Park. Hopefully we are able to attrack a few more South east Queensland vmx riders onto the oiled dirt of Action Park. The post classic field (pre 1980) is a great collection of characters and machines and the more the merrier. Hope to see some new faces this year with the Nats on up this way.
cheers,
Steve

Have frame and wheels sorted on my 77 godden weslake, hoping to rebuild the motor and find a clutch soon. Won't be quick but hope to have a ride if the back lets me. (It was sore for days after giving Donny Newell just a few push starts at the last Action Park, hate being old and unfit).

I've said it before Steve, but this year I'd like to come back to Action Park for a ride. Right now I am hoping to be abl;e to make it in the latter half of the year, but as always it'll be very lucky if it comes off. Still, I have a couple of bikes, I'll do some riding here in Canberra and who knows it may happen...

Hey Graeme M talking about flat track, how long will it be before some-one realises the wasted potential of the unused flat track at Nepean Raceway?

I gather you mean the Classic titles Pat?
Sounds good to me.
-
hey slides, yes 2012 classic dirt track nats, hope we get them
-
Elsie that's great news. Most will probably know that the Nats were held at Canberra in 2008 (I think) and it was a ripper of a meeting and coming off the back of record or near record entry's for recent Title meeting in Brisbane I reckon Canberra is ideally placed to build on that.
In your application for this meeting was there any mention of a date.
-
will find outwhat date darylene applied for, and let you no
