Title: DT3 fork cover removal?

Anyone know how to remove these fork covers of the forks without destroying them? Seems to be no place a screwdriver will go.

Grab with the hand and twist, pull and grunt  ;) ;D.

(maybe soak in WD40 if stubborn or if there is dried mud underneath).
