Well guys I think I am going to move forward with the .75mm piston kits. Who is still interested? Thanks, Ron
-
What model? RM500?
-
Thanks Leith, I guess when your tired you forget the obvious
-
Count me in thanks Ron ;)
-
Before you get too deep into this, Rick Horvat in USA gets Wiseco to make batches of RM400 pistons. Well i know he was a while ago.
-
He may Leith but so far as I know he does not have them in stock ready to buy and it's a long wait if he doesn't. I'd much prefer an oversize in the original piston style also not a wiseco copy ;) Regardless Ron, if you do go ahead count me in for 1 kit and probably an extra ring. With the limited amount of ride time the old 400 does these days that should see out my days :D
-
Yep ok, just wanted to make him aware of another supplier, wouldn't want to end up with pistons you cant sell but if Rick is all to hard to deal with then certainly another supplier would be welcome to take his place :) By the way, what ive heard/read they are not 'wiseco copies' but actually genuine wisecos he has had them specially make. He has had RM370 pistons in the past aswell.

I don't feel 0.75 over RM400 pistons would be hard to sell as they fit all models and I've honestly not seen anyone advertising them. Do the research obviously but long term it would be comparable to PE400 sales, if advertised possibly even better unless someone else jumps in on the bandwagon ;)
